4 Cheap Dates in the Twin Cities

As we finished our relationship series Love & War last week, Pastor Joe gave several pieces of advice as to how to strengthen your marriage. One of these was to date your spouse - this means continuing to get to know your husband or wife by sharing experiences. So, we’ve put together a short list of cheap date ideas.

  1. Swing Dancing at Wabasha Street Caves

With tickets at just $10, swing dancing at the Wabasha Street Caves is a great shared experience whether you can dance or not. If it’s an uncomfortable environment for you, find comfort in each other, let go of your inhibitions, and learn something new together.

2. Minneapolis Institute of Art

The Minneapolis Institute of Art is a renowned museum with one of the largest exhibits of Asian Arts in the area. On Thursday nights, the MIA hosts fashion designers and bands to showcase local art. Plus, it’s free!

3. Take a Walk Around Lake Bde Maka Ska (Calhoun)

This area of Minneapolis has a great atmosphere and can be a great free date. Take advantage of both the nature and city vibe of Lake Bde Maka Ska.

4. Indoor Mini-Golf at Can Can Wonderland
