What is Stephen Ministry?…. Our congregation’s Stephen Ministry equips laypeople to provide one to one Christian care to people in our congregation and community who are experiencing difficulties in their lives. Stephen Ministry is a confidential ministry. The identity of those receiving care and everything they discuss with a Stephen Minister remain private.

Watch Care Receivers Tell Their Stories

4. A caring Christian friend who listens, cares, prays, supports, and encourages.
5. Someone who meets faithfully each week with his/her care receiver for as long as there’s a need.

Grieving through the Holidays - Class/Discussion

Tuesdays, October 22nd - November 12th

6:30-8pm | Room 268

The cost for the class is $10.00

The holidays are fast approaching, and you may be dreading their arrival, as you recognize that you will be without your loved one for the first or second time. We understand that this is difficult to share in the holiday spirit with everyone else when you are grieving the loss of a family member or a friend. To help you in your journey of grief, we offer a four-week class called “Grieving Through the Holidays.”

Facilitated by Erin Hente. You may contact Pastor John for more details (763) 425-2246.

Night of Remembrance

November 15th

7-9pm | Fireside Room (269)

With the holidays fast approaching we understand this can be a particularly difficult time of year as you acknowledge that you will be without your loved one.  Please join us for a night to honor those that you’ve loved and lost.  We ask that you bring a picture of your loved one in a frame, so that we may specifically honor them during the remembrance service.  We ask that you come as you are and allow us to offer prayer and comfort over you on this special evening.  Desserts and refreshments will be provided.

You may contact Pastor John for more details (763) 425-2246.
