WELCOME GRACE GARDENERS!
Breaking News for Grace Community Gardeners for 2019 Season!
The city of Brooklyn Park and county will be starting major road construction around Grace Fellowship Church the summer and fall of 2019. This construction is scheduled to start in November 2019, but could start as early as August. While we do not know exactly when construction will begin, we do know that it will affect entrance to the church off of 101st Ave and all of the gardens along the east side: plots #67-165.
Therefore, this construction has the potential to affect the 2019 harvest season.
2 options for gardeners in plots #67-#165 in 2019:
1. Keep plot for 2019 season: garden for as long as you can—knowing construction might affect your harvest.
2. Give up garden plot: and get $20 refund on May 4 Registration Day.
Grace Fellowship Community Gardens For 2019 season and beyond:
Due to the impending construction off of 101st Avenue and all of the gardens along the east end, Grace Fellowship will only be able to offer plots #1-#66 after the 2019 season.
We want to support you during this transition! We will be contacting every gardener affected by this construction. We thank you for your patience during this time.
