Kid’s dedication = Parent Child Dedications
Grace is excited about making kid’s dedication a special celebration for your family. This is an opportunity for you to take some time for your parenting journey to really think about what will matter most in the life of your child.
Steps to participate in this KID’S Celebration:
Frequently Asked Questions
Before the celebration . . .
What do I need to bring with me?
Bring your friends, family, and child (don’t forget them at home!).
The day of the celebration . . .
What time should we arrive?
The services start sharp at 9:00 am and 10:30 am. Please be ready to meet Pastor Josh at the cross in the worship center, after the 2nd worship song.
What should we wear?
Whatever you and your little one will feel most comfortable in! Some people dress casually in jeans, while others wear more formal attire.
Is this an infant baptism?
No. We believe that a child must be old enough to understand what it means to put their faith in Jesus Christ before they can be baptized. This event is an opportunity for you as parents to publicly declare that you want to raise your child to develop their own relationship with Jesus Christ.
What can I expect on Sunday services?
Please let Pastor Josh know which of the two services you will be attending 9:00 am or 10:30 am. We are asking families after the 2nd worship song to meet Pastor Josh by the cross (opposite of baptismal) and follow him on stage. He will ask you to introduce your family and agree to raising your child for Christ.
